Welcome! Thank you for visiting our web site. At Dr. Helfert's office, we appreciate the trust you have placed in us. We will make every attempt to honor that trust by providing the quality of dental care you require and deserve. One of our primary concerns will be to make you feel comfortable in our office and we will make every effort to assure successful treatment. Our main goal is to help you save as many of your natural teeth as possible for the rest of your life.

SERVICES OFFERED IN OUR OFFICE
Dr. Helfert graduated fourth in his class from the University of Maryland
Dental School in 1965. In that same year he joined the United States Air Force
Dental Corps and in 1968 was sent to Pleiku Air Base in Vietnam for a one year
tour of duty. He spent two afternoons a week off base in Montagnard villages
treating the native's dental diseases, for which he was awarded the Bronze Star.
In 1969 he came to Williams AFB and in 1973 established his private practice at
560 N. Stapley Drive where he remained for ten years. In 1983 he moved into his
new office on Brown Road. Dr. Helfert is happily married and has two children,
and spends a lot of time in family activities.
DENTAL INSURANCE
Dental insurance is a contract between the patient and the insurance company, not the dentist. The patient is responsible for their deductible, their co-payment, and other balance not covered by the policy. Please remember that no dental insurance attempts to cover all costs. We are happy to process and send your insurance for you. We do this as a courtesy and there is no charge for this service. We will estimate your applicable co-payment and deductible, and require that you provide your estimated portion the date services are rendered. We will accept the insurance portion directly from your insurance carrier. Please be sure to bring all important insurance information (insurance form, booklet, etc.) with you on your first appointment.
FOR OUR SENIOR CITIZENS
Senior Citizens, age 65 and over,
receive a 5% courtesy from our fee if paid in full on the date of service.
PAYMENT PROGRAMS
We are pleased to offer a payment program
through a third party, at 12 months with no interest. Many of our patients find
this helpful, if needing to make monthly payments on their balance. Ask us about
it!

EMERGENCIES
For emergencies during office hours, please call (480) 834-6161. We will do our best to make arrangements to see you the same day.
REFERRALS
We welcome new patients!! Our practice continues to grow by referrals from our patients. We always make room for your friends and family that you send to us.
X-RAYS
We appreciate your concern over radiation. In this office we take only the necessary x-rays to do a complete and comprehensive dental examination.
APPOINTMENTS
To give the best and most efficient care, we must work within an appointment system. We plan very carefully to reserve the proper amount of time for each patient so that the most dental care can be accomplished in the shortest period of time. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. We do not "over-book" and your appointment time has been reserved for you, exclusively. If you find it necessary to change your appointment, please call us at least 24 hours in advance, so that we can reschedule you at a convenient time. Otherwise, there may be a charge for your missed appointment time.
